Gene
Chase sends a reminder:
As many of you on the list know, Joe Hallett of Outpost's ministry
has been HIV+ for a number of years, including downs and ups both physically
and emotionally. His wife Nancy asks us to pray on Mondays specifically
for Joe. I'll attach the message that she sent via Broken Yoke director
Bob Van Domelen.
Bob
Van Domelen writes:
Gene, This is a note I received from Nancy Hallet--I'll just reproduce
it here for you.
Nancy Hallet's message:
Dear Bob,
Just wanted to let you know we will be fasting and praying for Joe
on Monday each week. He has a Doc's apt. on Monday. They will be looking
at his liver so it would be great if there was improvement there. We are
praying for complete healing. Right now it would be a blessing if he felt
well enough to write at the computer. He has been able to keep food down
PTL! but is in alot of pain.
Bob Van Domelen writes:
Joe is a man who walks intimately with the Lord each day through whatever
circumstances he is in and Nancy has been God's gift to him, supporting
and loving him through each difficult time and rejoicing with him in the
good moments. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this fasting
time.
As long as I am asking prayers, one of our group members, Tim Jackson,
has been diagnosed with only months to live due to inoperable cancer. In
his mid thirties, Tim continues to be a real witness to all of us. He said
recently "If I live, God is with me. If I die, I am with God." Can any
of us pronounce a more direct message of faith?
In His love,
Bob Van Domelen
