On November 11 a party will be held in the Philadelphia, bringing together people from across the country and across the divide. Gay, ex-gay and everstraight together. Film at 11. :-) Yes, we will take pictures and upload them. The following week Steve Schalchlin will sing in a conservative Southern Baptist Church in Dallas. Steve Schalchlin: Pastor Bob Stith:"Maggie [Heineman] was talking about a Southern Baptist preacher in Dallas named Bob Stith and how great he is. He is also on the board of Living Hope, Randy Thomas’ ministry."As he and Maggie talked, Bob kept hearing about her pet homo songwriter, SteveS, of course. And then suddenly he realized SteveS and Steve Schalchlin are the same person. So he wrote me, "Are you ..." "This is not a public concert or ministry event. It is a willingness to listen to Steve’s heart, to show him our love and hopefully the love of Jesus; to provide an opportunity for those who would like to hear what he thinks. There are still a number of people in our church who remember Steve. They love him also."Vision People from across the divide will find a variety of times and places to fellowship together in the real world. And to make music together. The Last Session, Steve Schalchlin’s musical about Gideon, a singer songwriter dying of AIDS, and Buddy. a young conservative Christian who wants to save Gideon’s soul, continues to reach audiences on both sides of the divide with its message of healing love.
